Our luxury villas with fabulous views on the Costa Tropical de Granada for holiday rental direct from ownersIn 1986 we looked all along the south coast of Spain hoping to find the perfect place to re-locate to from the UK and initially, with our 3 young children in mind, we looked at locations with International schools nearby. Even then we found the well known places where the International schools were located too developed for our tastes and decided to look further afield. At the very end of our trip we arrived in Salobreņa and soon realised that we had found one of the quietest and most picturesque parts of the south coast of Spain, just what we were looking for! More than 20 years later we are still here and enjoying every minute of it! Salobreņa is now just 35 minutes from the city of Granada and Andalucia's most famous historic attraction, the Alhambra. And only 50 minutes away are mainland Spain's highest mountains and the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada. And, as an added bonus, this still largely unspoilt sub-tropical coastal area has a true microclimate with mainland Europe's warmest winters and cooler mid summers than anywhere else on the coast of Spain. Our three villas are situated in the favoured Monte de los Almendros residential area on the hillside overlooking Salobreņa where we enjoy some of the finest views to be found anywhere.
Las Vistas & Las Torres are individually designed 3 bedroom villas with private heated pools that we had built by well respected local builders and both are now very popular with many of our visitors being repeat bookings. The record so far with one couple is 7 holidays with us! Both villas are very well equipped and maintained to a high standard. We also have holidays ourselves! and offer Casa Miranda, our own spacious and very comfortable family home, for holiday rental when we are away. Since we retired from our day job (See below), we are away travelling rather more often so Casa Miranda can be rented at many different times of the year. As with Las Vistas and Las Torres it has it's own private heated swimming pool with a dedicated solar heating system as well as an energy efficient heat pump so our visitors can really enjoy swimming in comfortably warm water at any time of the year! From 1997 until mid 2010 we were the local specialist estate agents involved in the sales of nearly all of the villas and building plots that changed hands on this hillside. During this time we sgot to know most of the properties here and can say with some confidence that our three villas have some of the very best views on this hillside with each villa having been carefully designed to take maximum advantage of the views from every room!
